The number of confirmed cases in the U.S. is now over 400 with hundreds more of probable cases.
Although there are no confirmed cases along the gulf coast, one population in Baldwin County is especially concerned.
La Clinica De Baldwin is busier than ever these days.
Directors here say some of their patients have a greater risk of getting the Swine Flu.
Medical Receptionist Lucy Romero reads this Swine Flu pamphlet to patients several times a week.
"We have a lot of families and we've uh seen a lot of calls go up due to the swine flu."
She says several of the families have been to Mexico within the last month so every little minor medical problem is being checked out.
"Everybody is wanting the flu shot and we explain to them that at this time there is nothing we can do."
Medical experts say the best way to protect yourself is by washing your hands.
And covering your cough.
"The majority of our patients our Hispanic 85 percent don't speak English."
La Clinica Director Wayne Sasser says a majority of what they've been doing is providing education.
He says Swine Flu symptoms include severe cough, fever and chills.
They have tested several Hispanic patients for the Swine Flu.
"We have not gotten any positive results back."
And, hopefully they say people will practice good hygiene to keep all tests results negative.
The staff here also wants to debunk any myths about the Swine Flu.
"A lot of people are concerned that if you eat pork you will get the flu and that's not the case."
Medical experts say if you experience any flu like symptoms for more than two days it's best to see your doctor.
Carnival cruise lines is extending the time it stays away from Mexican ports because of the Swine Flu.
The company has canceled all port of call visits for 16 of its ships through June 15th.
