What started out as a challenge for students at University High School in Urbana is exploding into a donation war. The Assistant Director at the school challenged students to bring in a dollar to donate to the earthquake victims in Haiti. If $300 is reached she would donate $50 dollars. When parents heard about the deal the donations came pouring in. Despite being a school of only 300 the donations are now in excess of $15,000. Although the deal with students is over the school will continue to take donations.
