City Council meeting tonight does not include Federal Subpoena

We're learning more about the federal grand jury subpoenas sent to city of Pensacola employees.

The city's Custodian of Records is ordered to appear before the grand jury in Tallahassee next Wednesday morning.

The regular council meeting is underway. But the question remains whether or not city council members will bring up this subpoena tonight.
The federal grand jury subpoena has five parts.
First, investigators want all records related to the Main Street Rehabilitation Project from 2011 including bid sheets, memos, and engineering reports.

Second, copies of all requests for investment bids from January 2010 to January 2013 including city policies and a list of financial institutions registered to do business with the city.

Third, records related to several deals between the city and Jerry Pate Design for landscaping and improvements along Bayfront Parkway and Main Street.

Fourth, records pertaining to a request for qualifications property insurance issued in February 2012, including bid sheets and the final contract.

Lastly, records for expenses incurred, reimbursed, or paid on behalf of Mayor Ashton Hayward and his former Chief of Staff John Asmar including travel expenses.
There is a full agenda tonight, and this subpoena is not on the agenda.
We don't know if any council members will bring it up.
We'll bring you latest right here from City Hall when we get it.
