Pistorius murder trial waiting for verdict


The defense and prosecution in the Oscar Pistorius murder trial have both rested. 
But it could take over a month before there is a verdict.

The double amputee Olympian, nicknamed the Blade Runner shot and killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day in 2013.    
He claims it was an accident and that he through she was an  intruder. 

Prosecutors say Pistorius shot her after an argument. 
Closing arguments in the case have been scheduled to begin on August 7th.   

Pistorius faces 25 years to life in prison if found guilty of premeditated murder.
