Southwest Airlines now flying internationally

Southwest Airlines is now flying its own planes to destinations outside the United States for the first time.

The carrier began trips to the Caribbean Tuesday.

International takeoff started around 8am, with a route from Baltimore, Washington International Airport to Aruba.
