Passenger security fees increasing

The next time you fly, you'll be spending a little more.

Starting July 21st, passenger security fees will increase at U.S airports.
Right now, that fee is between five and 10 dollars.

But in about three weeks, a flat fee of $5.60 will be imposed in each direction, no matter how many planes you board on the way to your destination.
The revenue is to be used to offset TSA costs for providing security services, and reducing the federal deficit.
