New businesses coming to Crestview

Two new businesses are currently under construction  in Crestview.
Papa Murphy's and Panera Bread, will  be in the same shopping center.

Not only will it give residents and travelers more options to eat but they will also add around 70 new jobs to the area.

The businesses are located on South Ferdon Boulevard.
You can already see progress on the site.
"New businesses, new jobs, we need it," said Coy Collier.

Two stores will be located in the shopping center.
Papa Murphy's, where you order a pizza that's hand crafted then you take it home and bake it yourself.
And Panera Bread, a soup, salad, and sandwich chain.

Many people say more food options are welcomed.
"There is not really enough nice places to eat around here, so it's a good place for them to come in here and do that," said Collier.

But, others are more excited about the new job opportunities.
"Anytime you add new jobs it's a good deal in my opinion. Crestview is growing we need it," said Ed Hutton.

All together the businesses will hire around 70 employees,
Some will be management positions.

Shane Barnhill says the businesses couldn't be built at a better time.
His three children are on the job hunt.

"They've been in and out of all of these places and it such a populated area and it's such a little town..yeah it's pretty hard," said Shane Barnhill.
The shopping center is expected to open later this summer.
