UPDATE: Arrest Made in Connection of Shooting Homicide

The Escambia County Sheriff's office made an arrest late Saturday night in connection with the shooting of Shaquille Purifoy.
Investigators arrested 39-year old Xavier Tyrone Moore.
He was brought in for questioning last night and later charged with felony murder, negligent manslaughter and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
His initial bond was set at $250,000
Purifoy was shot in the head around 7:30 pm Friday in the 8400 block of Country Walk Drive.
Detective Heath Jackson, a spokesman for the sheriff's office says the shooting appears to be drug related.
Purifoy was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital where he passed away Saturday afternoon.
Purifoy was on the basketball and football teams at Pine Forest High School and went on to play football for Grambling State University.
