Resources for finding pets lost in the storm

A lot of people have been separated from their pets since the storm.

One dog, called Bella, was reunited with her owners Tuesday afternoon. The boxer-mix ran off during the storm and ended up at the Escambia Animal Shelter. Many pet parents are also turning to the Facebook page for "Lost and Found Pets of Pensacola."

"I think it's not necessarily storm related in the sense that pets were flooded out or scared by thunder. I think it a lot of it is that people are repairing their homes and their pets wander away or sometimes someone's fence washed away in the flood," said Kim Schraishuhn Rainer.

She encourages anyone who's lost or found a pet to list the information online and with area shelters.
