Deadly Middle East Virus turns in U.S.

A deadly virus found in the middle east has turned up for the first time in the United States

It's called the Cornonavirus but also known as MERS-CoV.  One case was reported out of Indiana this week.

Symptoms of the disease include shortness of breath, coughing and fever.
It was first discovered in the Arabian Peninsula two years ago.

Doctors at the Centers for Disease Control says they've traced it to a male healthcare provider working in the Middle East.  In April, he flew from Saudi Arabia, to London to Chicago's O'Hara airprot and took a bus to Indiana. Three days later, he started experiencing the symptoms.

Doctors are now trying to contact anyone who was in the flights or bus with patients.

Doctors say the virus is very slow spreading and poses a low risk to the public.

the patient is in the hospital in stable condition.
