Students and faculty head back to West Navarre Primary School today

SANTA ROSA COUNTY  --  Over in Santa Rosa County teachers and students are back at West Navarre Primary School.

85 percent of the school had water damage from the flood waters from last week.
An inch to two inches of water made its way into the hallways and classrooms of the school.
Cleaning crews worked up until yesterday to rip up the carpets and clean and sanitize the building.

West Navarre Primary School had two days off last week because of the storm and the damage.
The entire school district had one day off.
The district is in contact with the Department of Education about getting a waiver so the days won't have to be made up.
