On the map below, the circle over the Gulf of Mexico is for an area of low pressure heading toward Texas.  Development is not expected.  Also, we're tracking Cristobal and a tropical wave over the Atlantic Ocean that may become another depression though chances are low.

Disaster assessment in Okaloosa, Escambia, and Santa Rosa

We are getting a bigger picture of the amount of damage caused by last week's flooding here along the gulf coast.
   
Escambia County officials estimate more than 3200 homes and businesses were damaged and about 20-million dollars worth of public infrastructure.
     
In Santa Rosa County 782 homes and 51 businesses were damaged by the flood waters.
County leaders estimate those losses at more than 8-million dollars.

FEMA's preliminary assessment on Okaloosa County flood damage.
The estimated damage total is 12.4 million dollars.
   
About 9-million of that is public infrastructure damage.
The cost of damage to homes is 3.3 million dollars.
