Governor Scott vetos speed limit increase

Florida Highway Patrol says the veto by Governor Rick Scott stopping a speed limit increase on Florida roadways doesn't really matter.

Tod Cloud, FHP trooper, "I don't know who's bright idea that was, but it wasn't a very bright idea."

Governor Rick Scott, "It was convincing, I mean trooper Cloud, he was very passionate about it, he's very concerned about troopers being out there on the highway and people driving too fast."

Sheriffs and AAA Motor Clubs also encouraged a veto
