Downtown businesses work to get repairs finished for the weekend

PENSACOLA  --   Several downtown bars and restaurants were damaged by rising waters during the storm.
The owners are working to try and get everything cleaned up so they can open their doors as quickly as possible,
If they can't open up this weekend, that could mean a huge loss and business.
That's because Crawfish Festival is going on this weekend.
What business owners are doing to make sure they don't lose out
a lot of businesses in downtown Pensacola are in a last-minute rush to get things repaired by tonight. It's a big weekend for downtown Pensacola.

There's crawfish past lots of things going on.  At Global Grill that a lot of damage. At a rip up the floors and have fans out drying it to get them ready as soon as possible

We got our carpets ripped up. We have dehumidifiers. Air movers going on our floor. Tonight if we do open we will be without carpet hopefully by next week were going to get the baseboards hopefully next week will be back to hundred percent

Although it may not be at the hundred percent are planning on opening anyway because they say it's better than nothing.
