Hancock Bank donates 12,000 for flood recovery

Big donations from Hancock Bank today to help organizations that are recovering from flood damage.

The bank is donating a total of 12,000 dollars divided between the American Red Cross, ARC Gateway, Manna Food Pantries, and Habitat for Humanity of Okaloosa County.
One of the bank's Okaloosa offices also flooded, giving them a first-hand understanding of the need.

Bruce Vredenburg: "We are fortunate in that we're able to, uh, reestablish our operations quickly. They are not as fortunate. And so we want to share some of our good fortune with them in helping them get reestablished."

The money is coming from a corporate contributions fund used to help community organizations throughout the year.
