Florida gets record budget

Florida lawmakers also signing off on a record budget, 77 billion dollars

They approved it last night, ending their 60 day session
It's 3.5 percent higher than last year's budget.

It includes more funding for schools, child welfare and projects to battle water pollution.

Now remember, last year, the state came in with a 1.2 billion dollar surplus.
500 million of that is going to tax and fee cuts.

The budget heads to the Governor, who can veto individual line items.
