Emerald Coast mud run coming to Niceville

A big race is coming up this weekend for all the adventure racers out there.

Emerald Coast Mud Run is this Saturday in Niceville at Northwest Florida State College. There are several races going on all day.

It starts at 7:30 in the morning with the Elite 10k. That's for the top competitors.
But the mud run has something for all different levels of fitness.

If you are a recreation runner or just want to have fun, they suggest the 5k Funrun or our New Zero Dark Dirty Night mud run.

The cool thing is, 100 percent of the proceeds go toward heart of the bride, an organization that provides care for orphans in Africa, Haiti, India and Ukraine.

The race began in 2012 and since then mud runners have helped raise $168,000 for our work with orphans!
