Sacred Heart to Provide Free Health Screenings in April During April, Sacred Heart Health System will provide free heart-health screenings in Pensacola, Cantonment and Jay for adults who are poor, elderly or uninsured. One location will provide free osteoporosis screenings. Heart-health screenings will measure blood pressure, blood sugar and total cholesterol, and can detect anemia. The screenings are helpful in diagnosing conditions that put people at high risk for heart attack, stroke, diabetes and other health problems. Osteoporosis screenings measure bone density. Following is the April schedule: April 7, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Grace Assembly of God, 6117 W. Fairfield Dr. in Pensacola. Heart-health screenings. April 8 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, 3047 Hwy. 95A in Cantonment. Heart-health screenings. April 16 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Jay Community Center, 5259 Booker Lane in Jay. Heart-health screenings. April 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at East Brent Baptist Church, 4801 N. Davis Hwy. in Pensacola. Heart-health screenings (non-fasting). April 22 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at West Escambia Senior Citizens Organization, 904 N. 57th Ave. in Pensacola. Heart-health screenings.
