US Postal Service honors Tuskegee Airman

The US Postal Service will honor a Tuskegee Airman next week, with his own stamp.

C Alfred Anderson is often called the Charles Lindbergh of black aviation.

In the 1920's, he raised 25,00 dollars to buy a used plane and taught himself to fly.

Later, he was chief flight instructor for the Tuskegee institute's pilot training program.

The 70cent stamp will be issued in Tuskegee, Alabama, on Wednesday.
