NEW DEVELOPMENTS: Missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370
New developments and new questions in the investigation of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.
Officials say a possible fifth signal from the jet's black boxes may help further narrow the search area.
The signal was picked up through sonar buoys near an Australian ship assisting with the search.
As for the investigation into *why* the place went missing:
Sources say the aircraft flew below five thousand feet for about 120 nautical miles over Malaysia.
Investigators are trying to determine if the dip in altitude was a deliberate act to avoid radar detection.
"You don't just go from 35,000 feet like a helicopter and drop down to 5,000. You have to decend, and then turn around and climb down again."
