Beef prices going up

Beef prices have hit their most expensive in two decades.

The cost of ground beef has reached $3.55 a pound, that's according to February government readings.
$3.55 a pound is an increase of 56 percent since 2010.
The average for round steak is $5.28.
And beef isn't the only grocery item on the rise: milk, butter, eggs, fruits and vegetables are also climbing.
Right now a drought is impacting farms across most of California, and exports say prices could increase even more.
