Abortion bill gives Doctors final decision

The Florida Legislature approved a bill that requires a Doctor to decide the survival rate of an unborn baby outside it's mother before performing an abortion.

Supporters of the law say it would prevent abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy.
Right now Florida law bans most abortions after 26 weeks.

Opponents of the bill say it should be the mother's decision, and not the government's, on when it is right to abort.
The bill now heads to Governor Rick Scott.

Scott has previously signed several pro-life measures.
