BREAKING NEWS:Teachers experience shortness of breath and burning eyes Jackson Pre K in Milton

SANTA ROSA COUNTY  --  Employees in the Educational Training center at Jackson Pre K on Susan Street in Milton were preparing for a  book fair this morning in the Educational Training center when they began experiencing shortness of breath and burning eyes.

At this time, eight adults have been taken to local area hospitals and are in stable condition. No children have been reported injured.

Preliminary information is that the adults were inside a remote media building and were experiencing symptoms such as burning eyes and difficulty breathing. Those were the ones taken to the area hospital. Student' parents have been notified. School is not on lockdown at this time.

Street around the school are closed off by law enforcement. Parents are being allowed to take their children.

The fire department is trying to determining what the source of the problem is that appears isolated to that one building.

They have called fro assistance from NAS Pensacola with an air monitor
