Special Magistrate had issued a ruling concerning Sean’s Outpost

ESCAMBIA COUNTY  --  An Escambia County magistrate has ruled that a homeless camp off Massachusetts Avenue is *not violating county code.

The land is owned by a non-profit organization called Sean's Outpost" and is a common place for homeless people to stay.
In January, the Escambia Environmental Enforcement Division cited Sean's Outpost for several violations and issued a cease and desist order.

Today, a Special Magistrate decided that the tents on the land do not constitute a "development" and are not in violation of code.
