Milton school evacuated for breathing and burning eye problems
Several teachers at TR Jackson pre-k in Milton were taken to the hospital yesterday for breathing problems and burning eyes.
But emergency responders did not find any problems in the building they were in.
The teachers were preparing for a book fair in the library Friday morning when the symptoms started.
Eight teachers were treated and released from the hospital.
No children were in that building at the time.
Classes at the school went on as normal.
Several agencies responded to the school but did not find any signs of hazardous materials.
