BERTHA QUICKLY HEADING WEST-NORTHWEST

Tropical Storm Bertha formed over the Atlantic Thursday night and is heading west-northwest.  It has winds of 45 miles per hour and is not forecast to become a hurricane. The storm is not forecast to move into the Gulf of Mexico.

Pensacola man wins 3 million dollar from lottery scratch-off

PENSACOLA  --  A Pensacola man became a millionaire this week.
   
The Florida Lottery announced today William Moye claimed a 3- million dollar prize in the "Gold Rush Tripler" scratch-off game.

Moye purchased his winning ticket at the Penny Patch on West Michigan Avenue in Pensacola.
   
Moye chose to receive his winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of more than 1.9 million dollars.
