Mardi Gras celebrated all over the Gulf Coast

The Mardi Gras festivities are at full throttle here in Pensacola.
But, many people don't know that the very first "Mardi Gras" celebration was in Mobile, Alabama in 1704.
The city had a huge procession with a bull's head pushed along on wheels by 16 men. 
    Then, New Orleans was established in 1718.
In the early 1740's, the then Louisiana's Governor, started having elegant society balls, which became the model for the New Orleans Mardi Gras balls of today.
    But we celebrate Mardi Gras all over the Gulf Coast.
