World War II vet gets back in the pilot seat


A 96-year-old World War II veteran is getting back in the pilots seat.
   
Forever a pilot, at 96 Jim Hardy has seen more than most/

"A little black dot dropped from the first lead plane."

Bombers  destroyed his squadron .He would go onto fly and fight.

"I don't advertise this"

So many memories of war, just one he was ready to relive.

"Like old times I guess." "I wanna know how far have to swim to get on the airplane."

Like wind on water word got back to Michael Steel of San Diego Seaplanes.And

This pilot is back in control again..

"Didn't hear a word out of him he was really concentrating on flying."

Although the sea plane might be hard at first, it's no different 70 years later for this aviator.

"It's like riding a bicycle."
