BERTHA QUICKLY HEADING WEST-NORTHWEST

Tropical Storm Bertha formed over the Atlantic Thursday night and is heading west-northwest.  It has winds of 45 miles per hour and is not forecast to become a hurricane. The storm is not forecast to move into the Gulf of Mexico.

Mardi Gras parades in Pensacola


This weekend will be filled with many more Mardi Gras celebrations.
   
The Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras parade will roll through downtown starting at 2pm.

The Perdido Key Mardi Gras festival and Cajun cook-off is also today from noon to eight pm at "Hub Stacy's at the Point", Galvez Landing.

On Sunday, the Pensacola Beach "Krewe of Wrecks" parade will start rolling at 2pm .
