Search for missing Malaysia plane moves to new levels

INDIAN OCEAN  --  The search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is stepping up to a new level.
There are now 10 aircraft and 10 ships criss-crossing the Indian Ocean, west of Australia - trying to find anything that proves the Boeing  777 went down in the area.

And another Australian ship is set to join them.
The "Ocean Shield" is expected to sail for the search area later today.

The ship is carrying special equipment built to locate the airliner's black box
"Once we get a detection from this pinger we will put the autonomous underwater vehicle in the water to conduct a sight scan to map the debris field .

The batteries on those underwater pingers will run out in less than a week.
