Fort Walton Beach arrests made for making counterfeit money

FORT WALTON BEACH  --  Two people from Fort Walton Beach have been arrested  accused of making counterfeit money.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has had almost two dozen reports of fake bills from local restaurants and businesses since the start of the year.
They traced the problem back to  a home on Monahan Drive.
Deputies found a counterfeit operation inside including uncut counterfeit bills ranging from ones to twenties, as well as marijuana.

Meghan Park  and Shawn Morse were arrested.
Morse admitted to investigators that he was giving the counterfeit cash to people in exchange for drugs.
The sheriff's office and the US Secret Service are still investigating and say more arrests are expected.
