Colorado mom leaves infant girl on train tracks

CLOSE CALL: Police in Colorado say a mother placed her infant baby girl on train tracks.

Some witnesses said at first they didn't realize the woman had left a baby there because the bundle was so tiny.
"She set it down on the tracks, actually on the rail, It was covered up so I thought maybe this was a doll, there's no way this could be a real baby."

Two city workers rescued the baby. Police say witnesses detained 31 year old Jessica Sloan, until police could get there.
The baby was taken to a hospital and is expected to be okay.

The mother has been charged with attempted murder.
