Globetrotters spread message fo non-violence

The Harlem Globetrotters have some different moves on the courts.
Player Scooter Christensen visited Oakcrest Elementary School in Pensacola today.

He used the team's signature ball handling skills and humor to bring a lesson about bullying.

But Scooter also talked about the ABC's of bullying prevention, which stands for Action, Bravery, and Compassion.

The interactive program teaches kids easy ways they can help reduce bullying in their communities.
The team developed the program with the "National Campaign to Stop Violence."

Scooter Christensen  "There's a lot of kids that are afraid to say something //And we want to let them know that its ok to speak up and say something."

Tymeisha Singleton  "You should stand up for yourself and go tell any adult."

Brittney Curry "It tells me not to bully kids and to do the right thing."

You have a chance to see the team's show next week....
Their "Fans Rule" tour will be at the Pensacola Bay Center on February 27th at seven o'clock.
