Robbins murder trial expected to wrap up today

ESCAMBIA COUNTY  --  Witnesses are on the stand right now testifying against a man suspected of killing a teen during an attempted robbery.

Bennie Robbins is charged with premeditated first-degree murder in the death of Matthew Cox.

Escambia Deputies say Robbins walked up to Cox's home on Deauville Way and demanded money from him in July of 2012.

They say when Cox refused Robbins shot him several times.
The trial is expected to wrap up this evening.
Robbins faces life in prison if he is convicted.
