Sochi games controversy: Survelliance cameras in hotel bathrooms

As if having the games in Russia haven't already caused enough controversy, the Deputy Prime Minster let it slip that visitors are being spied on while in the shower.
When confronted by journalists about several problems they've seen, he accused the Western media of being bias against Russia.
He said he had surveillance footage from inside hotel bathrooms that support his claim, saying people would turn on the shower, and direct the nozzle at the wall and then leave the room or the whole day.
A spokesman later on said the Deputy Prime Minister misspoke and there were no surveillance cameras in hotel bathrooms.
