Computer company burglarized twice in two weeks

A local computer shop is hit by burglars twice in less than 2 weeks. Now the owner is warning nearby businesses.

Dan Hoffman has owned Pensacola PC for the past three years. He really didn't have any problems in the past, but in 12 days time-burglars hit him twice.

"You feel like you've been violated, why even open a business if people are going to steal from you?" He said that's how he felt after the first burglary and now he's just mad.

The burglaries were identical. The door was smashed with a brick and several computers stolen.
"I thought to myself this couldn't happen again. I thought it could be electrical, but as soon as I got to the front door I could see straight through the door. This is a warning of other businesses, you need to be aware that there are people without your best interest at heart.." he said.

Hoffman wants other businesses to be on guard, so this doesn't happen to them. Randy Stricker owns Key Auto Hospital and he says despite the recent break-ins, he still feels the area is safe. He said, "With the area as nice as it is. It seems the crime rate very very low, not really worried about it."

If you do have any information about this burglary, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 433-STOP.
