Cormier's father takes the stand in son's murder trial

PENSACOLA   --  Testimony continues today in the trial for the man accused of killing a former Pensacola News Journal reporter.

William Cormier is charged with first degree murder and robbery in the death of Sean Dugas in 2012.

This morning, Cormier's father, William Cormier Junior, is expected to take the witness stand.

He owns the Georgia home where police discovered Dugas' body encased in concrete and buried in the backyard.

The prosecutor says Cormier killed Dugas for his collection of trading cards and attempted to hide the evidence.

Cormier faces life in prison if convicted.
