Pensacola International Airport opens all gates after busted pipe incident

PENSACOLA   --  All gates at Pensacola International Airport *are reopen this morning, after a broken water main caused flooding in part of the terminal.

A six-inch water main pipe that stretched across the concourse burst just before four o-clock Wednesday afternoon.

The ceiling tore a part from where the pipe burst.
And there were about 4 inches of standing water on the floor from Gates 3 to 10.

Airport crews were forced to only use Gates 1 and 2 as crews cleaned up.
The mess caused some flights to be delayed by about 20 minutes but no flights were canceled.

"Everyone was calm so it was all right. Definitely one of the craziest experiences I've had at the airport."
"It's been an adventure.   They've all been really wonderful"

The airport brought in extra manpower and worked throughout the night to make sure everything was good to go this morning.
