HEALTH NEWS: American College of Emergency Physicians give US emergency rooms at D
America's ER's need to improve.
That's what the American College of Emergency Physicians found.
A new report card gave emergency medical care in the US a "D ".
The report does not single out any doctors or hospitals but shows how well states and the federal government are doing in terms of supporting emergency care.
Categories included access to care and disaster preparedness, among others.
By state, the District of Columbia was rated at the top for emergency care with a grade of B-.
At the opposite end was Wyoming, which was rated dead last with an outright "F."
