People rush stores for cold weather supplies

Stores are already getting ready for Spring, and putting those outdoor favorites on display.
But the temperature keeps dropping. People are bundling up and getting ready. Stores like Lowe's are having a hard time keeping space heaters on the shelves.
Bryan Hamlin was the lucky customer to get the very-last space heater at this Lowes on Fairfield Avenue.
He's never used one before, but is desperate for some warmth.

"Last night my furnace went out in my house, so it would be a pretty cold night," said Hamlin.

Customers kept asking about space heaters, but employees didn't have good news.
This store is completely sold-out  and they're also selling out of blankets for plants and insulations for  pipes.

"The wind's blowing out there, it's freezing. Heaters are selling like crazy. We need some heaters to come," said Donna Boyle.

People are finding alternative ways to stay warm, like buying racks for fireplace wood.
We called Lowe's and Home Depot stores, they say they will be getting in a few more space heaters at stores in the area this week.

"This time, this year, I've seen people buying the heaters. It's crazy," said Eva Jackson.
