Gulf Island National Seashore's has one of many free fee day's today

The "Fee Free Day" is in honor of Martin Luther King Junior,

For Martin Luther King Junior Day America's 401 national parks will be open for free. That means you can enjoy Gulf Islands National Seashore and The Fort Pickens area free of charge.
The fee free day only applies to entrance fees. The superintendent of the park says they see an increase in traffic on days where they offer free admission. He says it's the perfect opportunity to get the kids out of the house and getting active.

Camping is also available but you will still have to pay the $26 camping fee.
