Money wated on outdated phone system

Poor communication has cost US taxpayers nearly four-hundred million dollars.

The Government's General Services Administration planned to install a cheaper communication system called 'Networx' for nearly 160 federal offices.
But a new report finds the money was spent on parts for an old system instead.
As a result, less than half of the offices actually made the transition over to that system
"All these agency's and offices were using an old outdated phone system from the 1990's and it cost a lot more to operate an old phone system."
The report found the same issues could happen again as the GSA plans to install yet  another phone system.
