You might be wondering why this TV is out in the front yard of this home on Bourdeaux Street in Pensacola.

That's because this morning, this house was on fire.
Fire crews were here trying to fight the flames.
The man who lives in this home. The man who was renting this house says that the fire started in his cadillac in the garage.

This used to be a 1994 Cadillac El Dorado.
The car wouldn't start this morning.
John Williams got a ride to work for his fiance then went back to work on the car.

But after a few minutes he."Noticed that my car was smoking from the dash. I unplugged the battery, and I went in the house to make some phone calls. When I came back out, it just caught on fire."

Inside the house were three children, two six year olds and a four year old.
They were able to get out quickly and were treated by crews at the scene.

Firefighters battled the blaze as it spread through the house.
The family lost most of what they have but the most precious things were saved.

"Things can be replaced, but people can't be replaced. You know a car can be replaced. Money, you know, can be replaced. But lives can't be replaced."
