Wauwatosa therapist charged with criminal child abuse of Autistic child

WISCONSIN   --  A Wisconsin mother says a hidden camera captured video of an in-home therapist abusing her three-year-old Autistic son.

The video and the criminal complaint now filed against the therapist.
We want to warn you: Some may find the footage difficult to watch.
3-year-old Caeden Lowe is clearly terrified of his in-home therapist--27 year old Stephen Jacobs.

In this exclusive video given to us by Caeden's parents--Jacobs is seen elbowing the boy in the head, hitting him with pillows and even head-butting him during a session earlier this month.

Jacobs--a Wauwatosa therapist--is now facing felony charges of abusing a child during a therapy session.

His mother--very emotional--tells us she suspected something was up but nothing like this.

"If I hadn't put a video camera downstairs we would've never known."
According to the criminal complaint, Jacobs was one of several therapists from Autism intervention of Milwaukee--providing treatment to Caeden who suffers from severe Autism and cannot communicate with his parents.

Stephanie told investigators it appeared her son was not improving from the on-going sessions--so she and her husband decided to install a web-camera to record her son's in-home visits.

"It was on the second day that Stephanie recorded Jacobs that she saw the physical abuse."

"In fact she was able to witness everything happening in real time upstairs on her iPad."

Stephanie tells us she's already received calls from other parents whose Autistic children had sessions with Jacobs.

Police say it's an open investigation but have not had any official new cases.
