Soda chemical concern
A new report says a chemical found in many sodas may be dangerous to your health.
The World Health Organization and the State of California think "4-mel" -- a chemical typically used to give products a caramel color, may possibly cause cancer.
Consumer reports found elevated levels of it in cans of "Pepsi One" and "Malta Goya" bought in California.
Pepsi says the average person consumes less then that because they drink less than a third of a can of soda per day.
The FDA says it has no reason to believe 4-mel poses a health risk, but it is still testing food and beverages with the chemical to see if any action needs to be taken.
