Gulf Coast Summer Fest put millions into local economy

PENSACOLA BEACH  --  The Gulf Coast Summer Fest concert brought more than 10-thousand people to Pensacola Beach over Labor Day weekend.

Organizer Cadillac Banks says the 2013 concert pumped five million dollars into the local economy.
Now, he's asking the Santa Rosa Island Authority to help with next year's concert.
Banks wants the SRIA to front 100,00 dollars, to help lock in a headliner.
The money would be paid back out of ticket sales.
Banks will present his request at tomorrow's board meeting.
