Pensacola's New Year's Eve celebration expanding

PENSACOLA  --  Pensacola's New Years Eve celebration is getting bigger!

The children's area at the *Pelican Drop* will be bigger this year with family activities starting at three in the afternoon.

They're planning a glow dance for teens outside the TT-Wentworth Museum and a bubble stomp when the pelican is raised at 8 pm.

Adults can party into the night with live bands on three stages.
At midnight the pelican drops and fireworks will light up the skies.

Danny Zimmern:  "Gonna be a big show, you better get down kind of early, it's gonna be awful crowded downtown and it's gonna be fantastic."

If you can't be there, joins us here on WEAR.
We'll have live coverage of the festivities and the Pelican Drop countdown at midnight.
