Habitat for Humanity Grant

A local non-profit, dedicated to helping low income families build homes, has been given a generous grant.

Pensacola's Habitat for Humanity was presented with a 50-thousand dollar check today.

Its part of Wells Fargo's "Leading the Way Home" priority markets initiative.

The grant will be used to provide affordable homeownership for over 20-low income families in the Pensacola community.
"I would just like to thank all the work that Habitat is doing to help revitalize our communities and to really help those that are hardest hit by the economy and congratulate them on a job well done" says Jennifer Hagenbuch, the area President of Capital Cateway for Wells Fargo.

Wells Fargo gave out 67 grants across the country. Nine of them were in Florida.
