Gulf Breeze community wants more signs posted to help stop speeders

GULF BREEZE   --  A Gulf Breeze neighborhood is asking the county for some help to slow down speeders.

66-year-old Michael Labelle, and his daughter Michelle were hit by a car while walking down Laurel Drive in March.
   
Michael died from his injuries.
FHP says the 16-year-old driver was speeding.
He's now charged with vehicular manslaughter.

Now, the Santa Rosa Shores Homeowners Association is asking the county to  put up more stop signs in the Oriole Beach community.
   
The county commission will vote on the idea Thursday.
