Florida retailers help to bring National Guardsmen home for Christmas

FLORIDA  --  Several retailers have pitched in to make sure some Florida National Guardsmen have a way to get home for the holidays.

Soldiers from the Florida National Guard's 3rd Artillery Battalion are expected to return to Camp Shelby, Mississippi from Afghanistan on Christmas Eve.
On Monday Governor Rick Scott challenged retailers through out the state to help come up with money to pay for them to get home.
Ten retailers stepped up and helped raise $35,000 dollars.
That will pay for transportation for about 300 soldiers.
